Whilst the construction works for 5. Levent, Mall of Antalya and Mall of İstanbul 2. Phase Hotel, Office and Convention Center projects are ongoing in 2016, life has begun at Torun Center Project. At the same time, 2016 stands out as a year in which the achievements were crowned with awards. Mall of İstanbul is awarded with the “Best European Shopping Center” in the XL-Category by International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). 5.Levent Project is awarded with the “Best Urban Transformation Project” in the architectural category at Sign of the City competition.
The construction works for both 5. Levent project and the extention project (later named as Mall of Antalya) adjacent to Deepo Outlet Shopping Center Project begin. In addition to 2,100 residential units, 5. Levent Project consists of 400 units for social housing, 600 units for KİPTAŞ municipal housing, a university campus, 2 schools, 50 acres of green area and some retail area. The project also includes bicycle paths, jogging routes, special playgrounds for different age groups, amphitheatre, football, basketball and tennis courts. The new shopping mall adjacent to Deepo Outlet center is planned for opening in the year 2017. In the last quarter of 2015, Torium Sahne with 300 seating capacity opens its curtains at Torium Shopping Center.
Two of the most prominent projects within the portfolio of Torunlar REIC, Mall of İstanbul and Torun Tower are completed and they have started their operations. Life at the residences and office tower has begun at Mall of İstanbul which is the biggest mixed-use project in Turkey. Mall of İstanbul with 350 stores opens its doors to visitors on May 23, 2014. The shopping mall brings together Europe’s biggest indoor-amusement park, MOİPark, Gusto MOİ, MOİ Sahne (Performance Arts) under the same roof. On the other hand, Torun Tower signs Turkey’s largest international office lease contract with Russian Sberbank-owned DenizBank. Since November 2014, Torun Tower is the head-office for DenizBank.
Construction of Torun Center project, rising on the former Ali Sami Yen Stadium in Mecidiyekoy, started. Bulvar Samsun Shopping Center was awarded with the "Best Shopping Center" reward at ArkiPARC Real Estate Awards. In addition, it received "Europe's Best Renovation Project Special Jury Award" and "Europe's Best Shopping Center Hononary Award" in its category at 2013 ICSC European Shopping Centre Awards, also known as the "Shopping Center Oscars". Mapfre Insurance, a member of Mapfre Group companies which is one of the largest insurance groups in the world, purchased 10 floors of Torun Center office tower where it will move its head office. Torunlar REIC was qualified to construct for Kiptas Finanskent 2.Phase Project located at Eyup-Alibeykoy by bidding the highest offer at the tender. According to the contract, 45.72% of the total construction area of 578,400 square meters belongs to KIPTAS and the remaining 54.28% to Torunlar REIC. Office and residential deliveries at Mall of Istanbul started.
The Company completes the construction of the Korupark Terrace – the 3rd Phase of the Korupark Residences –and delivers the units to the new owners. The Company acquires the land of the former Tekel Distillery in Paşabahçe from the Privatization Administration for TL 355 million. The Company begins construction work on the Torun Center project, which will be developed at the land of the old Ali Sami Yen stadium. The Company increases its paid-in capital from TL 224,000,000 to TL 500,000,000. The Company reaches an agreement with the British real estate broker, Sotheby's, for the marketing of Mall of Istanbul project to foreigners. The Company agrees with the British real estate services company, Colliers, for the leasing of the Torun Tower project.

The Company carries out a public offering on October 21st, 2010 as one of the largest ISE-listed real estate companies. The Company begins construction work on the Bulvar Samsun Shopping Mall. The Company delivers the houses and offices in the Nishİstanbul project. The Company opens the Torium Shopping Mall, Istanbul's 4th largest shopping center and the 5th largest shopping center in Turkey. The Company participates in the Ali Sami Yen stadium land project as the leading partner.
The Company changes its title to Torunlar REIC (real estate investment company status).
The Company completes the 1st and 2nd phases of the Korupark Residences, Bursa's first modern housing compound, and begins to sell the homes there.
Korupark Shopping Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in Turkey, is opened.
The Company begins project development efforts for Mall of Istanbul, one of the largest mixed-use projects in Turkey and Europe in terms of GLA, and which is expected to be completed in the second half of 2013.
The Company obtains a 44.6% stake in Netsel Turizm Yatırımları A.Ş. (Netsel Marina) in Marmaris. The Company purchases the land for the Torun Tower.
The Company opens the Deepo Outlet Center, the largest outlet in the Mediterranean Region.
Zafer Plaza, Torunlar's first shopping center project and Bursa's first shopping center, is opened. The Company opens the ANKAmall, which was Turkey's largest shopping center at its opening date.
The Company becomes a shareholder of Yeni Gimat A.Ş., the owner of ANKAmall and Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ankara (the Company currently holds 14.83% of Yeni Gimat).
TORAY Construction is established.
The Company becomes active in the Turkish construction and real estate markets, beginning to carry out small- scale housing projects.
