Born in Kemah, Erzincan in 1950, Mr. Torun graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Istanbul University, in 1975.
He worked as an inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security between 1976 and 1982. He then decided to work in the private sector and quit his job in 1982. Together with his brother Mehmet Torun, he laid the foundations of the Torunlar Group of Companies.
He currently serves as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of several subsidiaries of Torunlar Group. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at GYODER (The Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies) between 2013 and 2017.
Born in Tekirdağ in 1972. Mr. Kazanç graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University in 1994. He completed a MSc. Degree in International Financial Markets at the University of Southampton in 2001.
He worked as an Inspector on the Board of Internal Auditors between 1994 and 2002, and as an Assistant Manager in the Treasury Department between 2002 and 2006 at Türkiye İş Bankası, and as the Group Manager in the Treasury Department at Türkiye İş Bankası between 2006 and 2008. He worked as an Assistant General Manager at Arab-Turkish Bank between 2008 and 2009.
Mr. Kazanç, who has served as CFO at Torunlar REIC since 2009, has been appointed as CEO effective June 29, 2026. He served as a member of the Board of Directors at Turkish Capital Markets Association between 2014 and 2018. Also, Mr. Kazanç is a member of the Board of Directors at Başkent Natural Gas Distribution REIC, Torunlar Energy Industry and Trade Inc., Torunlar Food Inc., TRN Hotel Management and Investment Inc. and Sakarya Electricity Retail Sales Inc.
Born in Herten / Germany on December 28, 1975. Mr. Ataş completed the high school education in Bursa and graduated from Balıkesir University in Civil Engineering in 1997. He started as the field engineer in the construction of Bursa Zafer Plaza shopping center at Toray Construction Inc.
He worked as the site chief in several residential and factory construction works within Torunlar Group until 2006. Between 2006 – 2010 he served as the project and procurement manager at Bursa Korupark shopping center and residential projects. He continued to work as the project manager at Torium shopping center and residential project. Between 2011 – 2014 he held the position as the project co-ordinator at the Mall of İstanbul mixed-use project. He continued to work as the project co-ordinator at Torun Center and 5 Levent projects between 2014 - 2021. Since July 2021, Mr. Ataş holds position the for Chief Construction and Project Management Officer.
Born in Kelkit Gümüşhane in 1957. Mr. Karakoç graduated from İzmir Cumhuriyet Commerce High School in 1976.
Starting his career at Mizan Accounting Office in 1975, Mr. Karakoç worked as the Accounting Chief and Accounting Manager at Üç Petek Stores in İzmir between 1976 – 1982. He worked as the Accounting Manager at Günay Construction Industry Trade Inc. in 1983. Between 1987 – 1997, he provided acconting services to several different companies via his own freelance accounting company. Joining Torunlar Group in 1997, he worked as the Accounting and Administrative Manager at Toray Construction Inc. in 1997 – 1999 and at Zafer Plaza Management Inc. in 1999 - 2010 respectively. Since 2010, Mr. Karakoç has been working as the Accounting and Administrative Affairs Manager at Torunlar REIC. Mr. Karakoç holds the position for Chief Accounting and Administrative Affairs Officer as of July 2021.
Born in 1977 in Istanbul, he is originally from Rize - Kalkandere. In 2000, he graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Civil Engineering. In 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering - Structural Engineering Master's program at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the USA.
He speaks English fluently. Between 2006 and 2008, he worked as a Design Engineer at Green Int. Affiliates, Inc. as a Design Engineer between 2006 and 2008. Joining Torunlar in 2008, Kaplan worked as Purchasing/Tender/Contract Manager at Torunlar REIT Inc. in many successful projects including Torium Shopping Mall, Mall of Istanbul Shopping Mall, Torun Center, Torun Tower and 5th Levent. He carries out central purchasing processes including all shopping malls within Torunlar Group of Companies. As of 2022, as the Digital Transformation Team Leader, he completed the design and application phases of the "Torunlar Purchasing Web Portal" and made it available for use. As of 07.03.2023, he was appointed as the Assistant General Manager responsible for Purchasing and Progress Payments at Torunlar REIT. He also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of Torunlar REIT. He is married and has three children.
Born in Istanbul in 1983, Neslihan Torun Kaya graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law.
She serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Torun AVM Yatırım ve Yönetim A.Ş., which manages the shopping malls within the portfolio of Torunlar GYO A.Ş., as well as entertainment businesses such as Cinetech Cinemas, MOİPARK, MOİ Sahne, and Snowpark. Neslihan Torun Kaya plays an active role in the asset management, strategic planning, leasing processes, retail operations, and brand mix management of the shopping malls under Torun AVM. Having held roles in national and international organizations operating in the retail sector, Kaya is a member of the ICSC — International Council of Shopping Centers — program. Through Tables and Settings and Haan Living, the brands she founded, Neslihan Torun Kaya carries out projects focused on table styling, home decoration, and art. As a partner of MEG Gallery, she is also involved in projects that contribute value to Turkish contemporary art. In addition, she serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at Pera Etkinlik A.Ş. Kaya also provides art content consultancy for numerous national and international projects. Having taken part in many social responsibility projects, Kaya actively contributed between 2010 and 2022 to initiatives aimed at supporting the social integration of children and young people under care and protection. In 2018, she became a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Yıldız Palace Foundation. In 2020, she was elected as a Member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and continues to serve in this role. Since 2025, Kaya has also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Mika-Der.
A graduate of Koç University, Department of International Relations, Osman Ali Torun has experience in treasury management, corporate finance, financial analysis, balance sheet optimization, and strategic decision-making.
Torun began his career at Torunlar Gıda, one of the Torunlar Group companies. Between 2011 and 2018, he worked in international commodity trading, taking part in procurement, pricing, futures transactions, and commercial operations. Between 2018 and 2019, he worked at Başkent Doğalgaz Dağıtım GYO, gaining experience in operational and financial processes in the energy sector. Between 2019 and 2021, Torun worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Project Finance Advisory departments at Yapı Kredi Bank, where he supported strategic planning, investment analysis, financial modeling, and project finance transactions for local and international clients. From 2021 to 2026, Osman Ali Torun served as Senior Manager in the Liquidity and Funding Management (ALM) Department at Garanti BBVA. In this role, he was responsible for managing the bank’s liquidity position, funding strategies, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, and a wide range of treasury transactions, including repo transactions, foreign exchange swaps, futures transactions, and money market products. He also played an active role in processes related to compliance with regulatory liquidity requirements. With his experience in financial markets, banking operations, treasury management, and corporate finance, Osman Ali Torun serves as Executive Board Member Responsible for Finance at Torunlar REIC.
